Mere returns to Myrtle Beach

I returned to where it all began for me this time last year! I found out about the Spread the Love Tour at the Salon Centric Hair Show in Myrtle Beach in 2011. What an incredible journey this has been and I am so happy that I was able to spend it with five wonderful people! This truly has been the experience of my life, thank you everyone.

Fundraiser for SART in North Dakota

Top Designers Salon invited us to take part in a fundraiser for SART which is the Sexual Assault Response Team in Jamestown, ND. The whole town knew about the event and came out to support by taking part in an auction, getting hair services, eating lunch, getting glitter tattoos, having chair massages, and just donating money. All $4,100 from this eventful day went to SART, which had lost much of their funding this year and needed the help to keep the community safe and aware. We were overwhelmed by how many people came to support… even the police were there to spread the word about how to keep Jamestown safe. Thank you Top Designers Salon and Spa and everyone else who took part in this important event!

Mary Lou Scott, mother of nine, won a Mothers Day Make-Over at Dimensions Salon and Spa. Welcoming family, exchange students, and homeless to her kitchen table alike! This woman deserved the total treatment she recieved. Watch her and her daughter enjoy their day of pampering!

Our last two official Spread The Love states were South Dakota and North Dakota… and there was no way they were going to let us go quietly. The Spread The Love Schools, Black Hills Beauty College and The Hair Academy each had a Style It, Lock It, and Rock It competition where the students were given different themes or songs to create a look! We had so much fun seeing the students work in teams, use Matrix Design Pulse products, and rock it down the runway! WARNING: You may see a lot of dancing in this one
