We did cut-a-thons at two fantastic salons this week! First, we were at Heads Up Salon in Connecticut raising money for The Ronald McDonald House of Connecticut. We had a great day giving conditioning treatments, blowdrys, and haircuts with the Heads Up staff! Heads Up had been working hard to benefit The Ronald McDonald House long before we got there by selling raffle tickets, getting donations, and having other events like a dance-a-thon! Great job Heads Up!
Then we headed to The Big Apple to J. Christopher Salon! They had a cut-a-thon for Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. They were offering free scalp treatments, buy one get one half off Biolage products, and a bake sale! We also gave free Matrix samples to everyone who donated. We had so much fun stopping everyone and getting them to donate. We heard some amazing stories from people who had been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, had been in foster care, or just wanted to find out how to get involved in the program. Thanks J.
