Watch behind the scenes footage of the State Beauty Supply Beauty show in St. Louis! The whole Spread the Love group was together for the first time since January. Brian and Sandra Smith, Chrystopher Benson & Sean Hayes, Ammon Carver and Daniel Roldan all showed up to teach us the newest trends.

"Todd and Timmy Go to Prom," South St. Paul High School

Tim and I knew we would have many exciting experiences on this tour but we didn’t expect to go to prom! No, Tim wasn’t crowned Prom Queen but we did help make this American tradition possible for some very deserving young ladies of South Saint Paul High School in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Martrix Salon Development Manager, Jody Kinney, began planning her Chair of Change Project in late January of this yea. She envisioned five girls benefitting from the effort but when the staff of Salon Fusion in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, Once Upon A Time Formals, in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, and the Spread the Love Team got involved the idea took flight!
Over 100 dresses were collected along with jewelry, shoes and other accessories using Facebook and other social media tools. All items went to Once Upon A Time Formals’ location in South Saint Paul, Minnesota. The 15 girls selected from their essays were able to choose from over 400 dresses and countless accessories to help make this special day possible.
Girls arrived at Salon Fusion at 10:00 AM with their dresses and photos to inspire our created looks. By 3 pm, we had completed hair, makeup and photos before sending them on their way. The event was a huge success. When the last girl was helped in to the car, we shared a huge sense of pride and accomplishment having made Prom possible for these beautiful young ladies.
Thank you to the entire Spread The Love Team in Minnesota for an inspirational event.

We all aspire to have those moments when we “…cosmetically, and psychologically transform the lives and destinies of fellow human beings.” –Dr. Lew. On this day in Waupon, Wisconsin Tim and I took four deserving high school kids on a beauty experience we will never forget.
We began early with a fantastic breakfast and conversation with Val, Michelle, and the entire staff of Glamour II, our Wisconsin Spread the Love salon . The four students selected by the counseling team of a local high school arrived with great anticipation and little reservations – perfect for Tim and me. We cut, colored, styled, talked, laughed, and even cried as the day transpired. In the end, because we watched and listened, it was the inner beauty of these kids that shined.
It is hard to communicate all that was shared this day so please let our photos and your imagination complete this amazing story.
