One of the ways I spread the love is… I make up little goodie bags when I give a class. I put the “Spread The Love” pamplets of the Grad’s., samples, the HIV pamplet, and any other little infor I have to give them. Then I drop in a bite size candy bar and “HUGs and kisses” from Hershey’s

We spread the love by donating total make overs to 20 wives of returning soldiers who have been deployed in Iraq. We’re also including coupons for haircuts and other hair services to the soldiers and their family members.

i spread the love by starting locally and putting gift baskets together for silent auctions and fundraisers for clients and friends who are trying to raise money for their own or some one they know who needs financial medical help. also i spread the love long distance by putting together DAY OF BEAUTY AND FUN for childrens home in san antonio whom take in children who have been abused and are in limbo or can no longer go back home due to domestic issues, (this childrens home is dear to me because back in the day my mom lived there as a child when it was an orphanage) so i have a special connecton to want to give back with the skills and talents God has given me to bless these children, and i couldnt do it with out the help of fellow matrix and non matrix hairdressers and family and friends! put it out there and things will come together to help you be a blessing and change to others!

I don’t see myself as a touchy feely person but a hug every now and then does a body GOOD! I ALWAYS love to make a person’s frown turn upside down! A GREAT cut and style does just that! I always hug EVERY CLIENT that sits in my chair by listening to them! If i don’t rap my arms around them I use my ears and sympathies and suggestions and prayers to hug them! I also let my little girl clients pick out a hair clip to go along with the cut and style that I just gave her. My little boy clients always get a TATTOO placed on their arm or hand and all my child clients receive a lollipop after their haircut!. I play games with my children that get haircuts for the first time. I make pretend that it is raining inside by singing “It’s raining – It’s Pouring” and then they repeat “Bye Bye hair” every snip. I just love my littlest clients!
