as the salon manager, ensuring that every guest in my salon, not just the ones in my chair, knows me and feels close enough to share with me their good and bad feelings. i say hi to every person in the salon, employees and guests, to make sure that everyone knows how much they are appreciated. i also love reaching out to the community with guest appreciation days when i like to serve lunch and distribute gifts to people who come to the events, whether they are receiving a service or just stopping by. we love everyone and we make sure that we show it to the entire community every day.

i am a huge hugger………..i love to hug my clients ……they can tell if it is a genuine or not so genuine hug. i smile as wide as i can before and after the hug and i follow the hug with a hand shanke…….its great

As I state on my profile, I feel like every person I come into contact with is put there for a reason…
I am a HUGGER, in general…. I like to hug my clients (females, mainly) to say THANK YOU for spending time with ME and letting me know about you, and learning something, because with each person, I learn something.
I have felt my eyes, my mind, and especially my heart and soul opened working with my clients. I have clients who I never would have “chatted up” randomly, on a day-to-day basis…. And I love it! I love learning about the past from my elderly clients…. I love learning about life from my middle aged clients… And I love hearing the wonder, joy, and innocence in the voices of my kiddo clients!
I share the love, I feel, because I DO love, and in return, receive LOVE in return…
If everyone in the world would practice loving one another or smiling at one new person a day, or giving more hugs….. Imagine what we could accomplish with our clients, and the world!

I have been in the beauty business for 28 years! I love it, I have been lucky enough to travel internationally, be an instructor, stylist, manager, and salon owner. I love what I do!! It seems that in small town Missouri we have our share of tragedies no matter what position I hold at the time I encourage fellow stylist to step up. We do a lot of complementary services to ease the pain of such situations. Always, no matter what hugs all around make life seem not so bad.
